La troisième mi-temps - the après-match - can sometimes consume a whole night.

Good natured fans recalling earlier triumphs or bemoaning missed opportunities soon discover a friendly common ground in whichever bar they find themselves. The liveliest post-match quartier lies above Place Dupuy where drinkers from Trevor Brennan’s Irish Pub De Danú and Bar La Suite overflow into the street.

Both these venues have an impressive collection of rugby memorabilia, creating the perfect scenery for a post-match session. Slightly closer to the Stadium, is a great, family run Irish Pub that receives good pre- and post-match crowds. The Killarney (14, rue Alfred Duméril) shows every rugby match playing and serves delicious French/Irish food in a relaxed pub atmosphere. Also, Mulligans Irish Pub (39, Grand rue St. Michel/Metro Saint Michel Marcel Langer) offers a great stop-off point for a pre- or post-match pint...sunny terrace, pool table, darts and Great Guinness!
