Toulouse has plenty of accommodation options to suit all budgets and needs.
If you stay within 10 minutes walk of Capitole; you’ll be central and be able to make the most of the time you have. The area around Place Wilson is a great hotel hub with large, smart hotels with large numbers of rooms. If you're looking for delux accommodation, you have several class options including the beautiful new Radisson Hotel within a stones throw of the airport. Avoid at all costs the area around the railway station, Rue Bayard and streets north of Jeanne d'Arc. The least scenic area of central Toulouse is unfriendly during the day and can be slightly threatening by night.
The vast majority of hotels will take reservations by phone and internet and it's always a good idea to book in advance especially during holidays and rugby weekends. many hoteliers and receptionists in Toulouse speak a little English and will be happy to help you, but test the water before you jump in.
