This buzzing bar offers a variety of cocktails, tapas and also has a large seated heated smoking area. Cool music and cool people abound at bar Les Coulisses. De Danu Irish Bar - 9 Rue du Pont Guilhemery, 0561625879, 3 minute walk from metro Francois Verdier
Located on the banks of the canal and owned by Irish International and former Stade Toulousain player Trevor Brennan, this bar is a firm favourite of the English and French speaking communities in Toulouse. The bar has an impressive array of rugby memorabilia and there is no better place to be to catch all the sporting action on TV. Au Père Louis - 45 rue des Tourneurs, 2 Minutes from Esquirol
This bar is a Toulouse institution with wine barrels as tables, wooden floors and frescos. Au Père Louis has barely changed since it opened over a century ago. You can have a unique French aperitif experience by ordering a glass of quinquina based alcohol and a plate of freshly cut jambon sec.
